Was checking out Indy Chickens Web site and came across this “Egghead Award”. It’s kinda funny. The Indy Chicken is holding a contest of sorts to find the worst elected official in Indianapolis Government he‘s giving away monthly awards. Anyone can nominate a contestant, this is the page check it out.

This site is dedicated to the public acknowledgement of inspiring decisions made by our elected and appointed State, City and County officials.
Indy Chicken is proud to announce the creation of the,
“Egghead Award”.
Visitors to TheIndyChicken.com will be the deciding voice for the Winner of this Monthly Award.
This is a FREE opportunity for you to participate in this public forum.
Weeks one through three of each month will be the nominating phase; Week 4 will be the voting phase.
The Award will be delivered the first week following the voting.
Monthly, Indy Chicken in his Chicken Mobile will deliver this prestige's award to the most deserving candidate decided by the visitors to this site.
Following the Award presentation, a press release will be issued to the media.
Indy Chicken will announce via his press release the winner of the “Egghead Award”.
A photo of it’s presentation along with comments as to how receptive the winner was will be included in this press release.
In December of each year Indy Chicken will post the monthly winners. Visitors to this site can vote on the,
“Egghead of the Year Award”.
A two-foot Trophy will be awarded to the winner and Indy Chicken will also deliver it.
A photo and a press release will follow the presentation.
“Chicken Chit List”
A negative response to any award can qualify the recipient for the “Chicken Chit List“.
Once on, only apology and penance can get the anointed off the list.
This will be at the discretion of Indy Chicken.
Regular visitors can make appeals with good cause.
Nomination is free, Qualifying Candidates, any elected or appointed office holder of
Indiana, Marion County or The City of Indianapolis.
Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or Independent

This is great, any winner who gives the Chicken a hard time can end up on his Chicken Chit List.

For not supporting the LEO's and hanging at gambling joints.
I think that it should be Mayor Peterson. The stadium will be great but we are paying a bigger price with crime running rampant.
Our river still stinks, the merger is a joke, crime is up and all the folks on the 25th floor are chasing Indy Chicken. It should be Bart Peterson.

I nominate Mayor Bart Peterson for missing in action.
He is basking in the shadow of a possible Super Bowl win or loss for the city while it is going to hell in a hand basket. No mention of solutions to the rising crime rates or a contract and retro-pay for our hardworking police officers.
How can this city be first-class when law enforcement and public safety issues are low priority while a football team is his number one priority. I will even the score on election day.
I vote for Bart for his cowardice...The Ghetto Mafia rules him.
